Mundelein HS: Was a two-year member of the baseball team … batted .350 with a .450 on-base percentage as a senior … committed only four errors … named a Daily Herald and News Sun First-Team All-Area selection … team won regional and sectional titles … earned all-conference honors as a junior … did not commit an error as a junior, while serving as the team’s primary second baseman … team won conference championship his junior year … also was a member of school’s basketball and golf teams … holds multiple school records for three-point shooting … made a school-record 127 3-pointers as a senior, tied for 17th-highest single-season total in state history … also made 12 3-pointers in one game as a senior, tied for the fourth most in a game in state history … was a three-time all-conference selection and a regional champion as a member of the golf team … was named the Daily Herald Lake County Male Athlete of the Year … member of the National Honor Society … graduated summa cum laude.
