Freshman (2024): Played in 36 games for the 'Birds, while making five starts...Earned first-career hit, in the second game of the season, against Michigan, a two-run single (Feb, 9)...Finished the year with 2 hits, 2 RBI, and 4 stolen bases in 5 attempts...Had one assist in the field, with a 1.000 FLD%...Member of the Illinois State AFNI Honor Roll.

High School: Four-year letter-winner for the Rockridge High School Rockets in Taylor Ridge, Illinois…Brown is a 3-time team captain and was a 3-time 2A State Champion with the Rockets as a sophomore, junior and senior… As a sophomore, had a .424 batting average with 39 hits, 27 RBI, nine doubles, two triples and 10 home runs and was selected First Team All-Conference and Second Team All-State.  Collected her first 2A State Championship title sophomore year as the Rockets went 29-0 as a second baseman.  As a junior, was selected Unanimous First Team All-Conference, First Team All-State and First Team All Western Illinois and hit .528 with 66 hits, 38 extra base hits, 56 RBI, and 58 runs scored amd broke the school's single season home run record with 17 HR her junior season.  Helped lead her team to the school's winningest season in school history at 35-0 and earning their second 2A State Championship in 2022 .  As a senior, had a .578 batting average with 78 hits, 77 runs, 58 RBI, 13 doubles, two trips, and 27 home runs and earning their third consecutive 2A State Championship and setting a new IHSA state record with 72  consecutive wins.   Individually Brown set new school records her senior year in single season home runs (27), single season hits (78), single season runs scored (77) and broke the school’s career home run record with 54 home runs.   Additionally, Brown set a new IHSA state record for single season home runs (ranked #1 in IL history) and is #4  in IL history for career home runs with 54.  As a senior, Brown was selected Unanimous First Team All-Conference, First Team All-State, First Team , All Western Illinois and the 2023 MaxPreps All American Team.  Brown is an Illinois State Scholar and has made high honor roll all four years of high school and is a member of the National Honor Society, holding the position of Treasurer.

Travel Team: Brown has played for Heartland Havoc 05 for five years under head coach John Nelson…She was named the Most Valuable Player at the Perfect Game Elite 40 Scouting Showcase,  Perfect Game 16U Elite Top Performer – Hitting, Perfect Game 16U Elite Kansas City Fall Showcase Tournament MVP, and Colorado 4th of July 16U All American Showcase.

Personal: She is the daughter of Diana and Jason Brown…Her cousin, Cory, played basketball at Culver-Stockton and her other cousin, Chipper, played football at Mizzou and Quincy University…Brown chose Illinois State because she loves the coaching staff, the players and the culture – to her, Illinois State feels like home.
