MVC Runner-Up, earning All-Conference honors...MVC Scholar-Athlete...USTCCA National Athlete of the Week (10/24)...MVC Athlete of the Week (10/25)...Won the Illini Open meet with a first place finish...season-best 5K was at the MVC Championships as she ran a time of 17:33, placing second...season-best 6K was captured at the NCAA Midwest Regional meet with a time at 21:07, placing 35th overall.

2015

Broke a school-record in the 5K at the MVC Championships where she was runner-up with a 5K time of 16:57…Michalek now holds the school record in the 5K…she captured a personal-best 6K at the Bradley Classic where she placed seventh with a time of 20:45, just one second away from tying the school record…ran a time of 17:34 at the Notre Dame Invite…Received all-MVC accolades.  

2014

Receive first team All-Conference and placed in the top-15 in three out of five events…the start of her season was at the Country Financial Illinois State Invitational where she clocked a 5K time of 18:02 and placed 12th…earned a 22:57 at the 6K Roy Griak Invitational…placed 12th again at the Bradley Classic of a 6K time of 21:28…at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships Michalek notched a personal-best 5K time of 17:29 earning ninth place…she wrapped-up her season at the NCAA Midwest Regional with a 6K time of 20:55 where she placed 27th. 

PRIOR TO ISU

Wisconsin: Two-year member of the Badger’s cross country and track and field squad … ran a personal-best 3,000-meter steeplechase time of 10:54.30.

Oswego East High School: Four-year letterwinner in cross country and three-year letterwinner in track and field … one-year letterwinner in softball … seven-time conference champion … three-time Class 3A state champion, including titles in the 1,600-meter, 3,200m and cross country … two-time state runner-up in the 3,200m and cross country …five-time sectional champion …10-time All-Conference honoree … holds the 3A cross country course record … helped her team to a conference championship in cross country as a sophomore … qualified for state in both cross country all four years of high school, including three years for track and field … held a personal-best 1,600m time of 4:53.37 and a personal-best 3,200m time of 10:33.53 … ran a personal-best 5K time of 17:53 as a sophomore … Ledger Sentinel Athlete of the Year … SPC Conference Female Athlete of the Year … honor roll member.
