Competed in three events concluded his senior here at ISU…Eckhart season-best performance was at the ISU Invite where he came in 19th with a 8K time of 25:29.4…ran at the Notre Dame Invite and notched a 5 mile time of 25:30…at the MVC Championships recorded a 8K time of 26:12.21. 

2014

Achieved All-Conference honorable mention…placed in the top 10 at the Bradley Classic where he placed eighth with a 8k time of 24:58…clocked a time of 25:28 at the Country Financial Illinois State Invitational …at the Roy Griak Invitational earned a time of 26:30…participated in the Missouri Valley Conference Championships where he placed 12th with a 8K run time of 24:39…ended his season with a 10K clocked time of 21:09 at the NCAA Midwest Regional.

2013

A consistent top-five Redbird finisher, opened the season with a personal-best 8K time of 25:04.65 at the Country Financial ISU Invite to take 11th … raced to an 8K time of 26:01.9 at the prestigious Roy Griak Invitational … clocked an 8K time of 25:31.54 at Pre-NCAA’s … finished 40th at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships with an 8K time of 25:47.3 … closed out the season with a personal-best 10K time of 32:57.4 at the Midwest Regional, helping the Redbirds to a 15th-palce regional ranking.

PRIOR TO ISU

Maine South High School: Eckhart spent two years at Illinois before transferring to Illinois State...Four year letterwinner in both track and field and cross country...As a senior he notched a third-place finish in the 3200-meter run at the state competition to accompany a seventh-place finish at the state cross country meet...Notched a first-place finish in the 3200-meter run and a third-place finish in the 1600-meter run at sectionals...Helped lead his team to a 10th-place finish at state as a junior...Personal-best three-mile time 14:33.
