2021 FALL (Sr.): Ran in four races for the Redbirds in his senior season, including the MVC Championships and NCAA Midwest Regional…Competed in his first 10K on the cross country course at the NCAA Midwest Regional (11/12), posting a top-100 finish in a time of 32:23.84, second among the Redbird men…Posted an 8K season-best time of 25:11.9 at the MVC Championships (10/29), placing 15th overall, second among ISU’s runners…Finished 82nd in the men’s red race at the Bradley Classic (10/15) with a time of 25:17.7…Opened up the season with a top-100 finish at the Redbird Invite (9/17).

2021 SPRING (Jr.): Member of the 2020-21 MVC Cross Country Championship team, tying for 20th overall at the Valley Championship meet with a time of 26:06.5.

2019 (So.): Competed in five meets for Illinois State during his sophomore campaign...Was the top ISU finisher at the MVC Championships (11/2), clocking in at 25:27.99 to earn the first All-MVC (Honorable Mention) honor of his career with an 11th-place finish...Cut nearly 40 seconds off of his time to finish 32nd overall with a personal-best time of 25:02.3, at the Bradley Pink Classic (10/18)...ISU's second finisher and the 37th finisher overall at the Gans Creek Classic (9/27) in the 8K...Was the fifth Redbird and 36th runner overall to cross the finish line, clocking in with a time of 25:54.7 at the Illinois State Invite (9/13)...Opened the season with a personal-best time in the 6K at the Hawkeye Invitational (9/6), clocking in at 19:09.9 to place 26th overall.

2018 (Fr.): Competed in five meets for the Redbirds as a freshman, including the MVC Championships where the 'Birds ran to a runner-up finish...led the Redbirds at the Bradley Classic, crossing the finish line first for ISU in an 8K personal-best 25:41.50 to place 64th among 273 runners...captured highest finish of the season at the Joe Piane Invitational, placing 26th in the open race with an 8K time of 26:08.22...posted a 6K personal-record of 19:39.90 at the Hawkeye Invitational, finishing 37th out of 73 competitors.

OSWEGO EAST HIGH SCHOOL: 2018 Illinois Top Times qualifier in the 1600-meter...earned All-Conference accolades during senior campaign in the 1600-meter and 3200-meter...also named All-Conference as a junior in the 3200-meter...placed third in the 3200-meter at the 2018 IHSA Class 3A Plainfield South Sectional...holds Oswego East's indoor (9:24) and outdoor (9:15) 3200-meter school records...on the cross country circuit, placed second at the 2017 IHSA Class 3A Aurora Sectional, advancing to the state finals...named All-Conference in cross country in 2016 and 2017, placing third at the conference meet in each of these two seasons...two-year team captain in both cross country and track...six-time Honor Roll student...member of the rho kappa honor society.

PERSONAL: Born September 1, 2000, in Naperville, Illinois...son of Brad and Michelle Blanco...has two younger brothers, Ryan and Mason...grandmother, Nancy Blanco, and aunts Maggie, Cassy, and Maria Marchesi, all attended ISU...uncle, Jason Mrowicki, played baseball at Bradley...plans to major in exercise science with career aspirations of becoming an athletic trainer.
