Competed in five races during his junior year as a Redbird…captured a season-best at the Joe Piane Invitational, posting a 5-mile time of 26:18.14…was the fourth Redbird to complete the 8K circuit at the Illini Open (27:01.10) and Bradley Classic (26:27.70).

2017

Competed in six meets for the Redbirds during the 2017 season, including the MVC Championships and NCAA Midwest Regional...was the fifth 'Bird to cross the finish line at MVC Championships, placing 27th overall with an 8K time of 26:05.17...posted personal-bests in the 6K (19:01.00) at the Hawkeye Invitational and 8K (25:52.15) at the Greater Louisville Classic.

PRIOR TO ISU 

UW-Parkside: Team placed eighth at DII National Championships in its first appearance in school history…captured his personal-best 8K in cross country at a time of 26:42.

Limestone High School: four year letter winner in track and field/cross country… three-time IHSA 2A state qualifier in cross country. Captured All-Mid Illini Conference accolades three times and has served as the team captain for both the cross country and track teams for the past three seasons. A three-time Team MVP in cross country and a two-time track Team MVP…led his team to first state bid in over 10 years…the tea finished the highest in conference for first time in the past 20 years.

Personal: Born 09/15/1996…son of Patrick and Jill…sibling is Ryan…plans to major in business administration.
