Competed in four meets for the 'Birds during senior campaign...recorded highest finish of the season at the Bradley Pink Classic, placing 20th in the Open Race...also captured season-best 8K time of 26:50.00 at Bradley Pink Classic...captured second top-25 finish of the season at the Illini Open, placing 21st.

2016

Started the season off capturing his personal-best 6K with a time of 19:19, which was posted at the Hawkeye Invitational...posted his personal-best 8K at the Bradley Classic with a time of 25:56...his highest finish was at the Badger Classic where he placed 25th with a 6K time at 19:47...at the MVC Championships, Ward ran a time of 26:57 and placed 45th overall.

2015

Competed in five events…started his season at the Hawkeye Early Bird Invite where he ran a 6K time of 19:40...personal-best 8K performance was earned at the Bradley Classic with a time of 25:56…placed first at the Bradley Invite.

2014

Bloomington-Normal native started his season at the Wisconsin Opener with a 6K time of 19:52…clocked a 8K time of 26:38 at the Country Financial Illinois State Invitational …at the Roy Griak Invitational captured a 8K time of 30:47…earned a 8K time of 27:07 at the Bradley Classic…finished his season at the Illini Open with a 8K time of 26:53.  

2013

University High School: Four-year letterwinner in track and cross country...Individual conference and regional champion in 2011...Helped lead team to four consecutive conference and regional team championships, three sectional championships and two third-place state finishes...Four-time All-Conference honors and three-time All-Region honors...Holds a personal-best time of 14:58 in the three-mile...Holds personal-best times of 4:35.74 and 9:46.86 in the 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs, respectively...Valedictorian.
