Nick Meyer begins his third season with Illinois State football program in a full-time quality control role in 2020.

Meyer is no stranger to the Redbird football program, having worked as a team videographer in 2011 and then a student assistant from 2012-2015. As a student assistant, Meyer worked with the defensive backs for two seasons and with the defensive line for the final two seasons. He also assisted with helping with scout teams, recruiting graphics and day-to-day football operations.

Following his graduation from Illinois State with a degree in organizational and leadership communication in December of 2015, Meyer coached running backs and linebackers at Fieldcrest high school for one season.
