2023: Played in two contests on the defensive line.

2022: Did not see game action.

2021 (fall): Saw action in the season-opener against Butler on the defensive line ... recorded one tackle in that contest.

2021 (spring): Redshirted.

Herscher HS: Two-year varsity starter … recorded 45 total tackles, with 27 solo stops, and had 10 TFLs as a senior for the Tigers … also recorded five sacks, and forced two fumbles on his way to earning first-team all-conference and all-area honors … picked up honorable mention all-state honors as a team captain and was selected to play in the annual ICA Shrine Game … posted 27 tackles and a sack as a junior, while helping team a state semifinal appearance.  

Personal: Born July 27, 2002, in Kankakee, Illinois … son of Andy and Lynn Zugenbuehler … has an older brother, Andrew.
