2017: Played in all 11 games on special teams ... made one start at safety for the Redbird defense at Southern Illinois (Oct. 14) ... finished the season with one tackle, which he recorded at South Dakota State (Nov. 11).

2016: Named a team captain ... played in nine games for the Redbirds, mostly on special teams ... finished the season with three tackles.

2015: Saw action in four games on special teams ... named the scout team defensive player of the year.

Normal West HS: Two-year starter for head coach Darren Hess ... first-team all-conference selection and Pantagraph All-Area pick ... finished senior season with 96 tackles, four interceptions and seven pass break ups ... tallied 52 tackles, two interceptions and forced one fumble during junior season ... was also a standout on the track, earning a conference title in the indoor long jump ... earned Big 12 Conference Scholar-Athlete and IHSA Scholar Athlete awards.
