Naperville Central: Two-year starting quarterback under Mike Stine ...  helped earn his team back-to-back conference championships ... as a senior, named his conferences' player of the year ... threw for 2,300 yards and 23 touchdowns and rushed for 500 yards to lead his team to a 10-2 overall record  ....  also earned first team all-state, all area and all city honors ... as a junior, passed for 1,400 yards and 17 touchdowns and rushed for 400 yards ... earned special mention all-conference honors ... also competed in baseball.
