Biography

2017: Played in all 11 games, with three starts at cornerback ... finished the season with 27 total tackles, four pass breakups and two forced fumbles ... tied for the team lead with a pair of interceptions ... had a season-high seven tackles at Southern Illinois (Oct. 14) ... recorded an interception in back-to-back games at Youngstown State (Oct. 28) and vs. Western Illinois (Nov. 4).

2016: Started in all 12 games at cornerback … led all ISU players with three interceptions, which tied for fifth in the league … finished the regular season with 56 total tackles (35 solo, 21 unassisted), 1.5 TFLs and five pass breakups … posted back-to-back double-digit tackle efforts in wins over nationally-ranked South Dakota State (Oct. 29) and Western Illinois (Nov. 5) … led the defense with 11 total tackles and a key fourth-quarter interception against the Jackrabbits … forced a fumble in the end zone against Southern Illinois (Oct. 15) that was recovered by Alejandro Rivera to veto an SIU score. 

2015: Saw action in 12 games, with 11 starts at safety ... ended the season with 62 tackles, 36 of which were solo stops ... added 1.5 tackles for loss and was credited with four pass breakups ... also forced a fumble ... recorded eight tackles in the season opener at Iowa ... tallied seven tackles and a TFL in a win at Youngstown State ... posted first double-digit tackling effort of his career with 10 stops on Homecoming against Western Illinois ... set a career-best with 11 tackles and forced a fumble in the win at Southern Illinois ... recorded lone interception of the season in the FCS playoff second round win over Western Illinois.

2014: Played in all 15 games as the team's primary nickleback ... finished the season with 41 tackles, including 28 solo stops ... recorded a pair of interceptions and broke up six pass attempts ... also recovered a fumble and added a tackle-for-loss ... tallied four tackles and interception in first career game against Mississippi Valley State ... added an interception and a career-best five tackles the following week in a win over Eastern Illinois ... had four tackles and recovered a fumble in the second-round playoff win over UNI.

Garland HS: Three-year varsity starter for head coach Jeff Jordan ... rated as a two-star recruit by Rivals.com ... named a second-team all-district selection at defensive back ... recorded 38 tackles in five games played ... helped team advance to the first round of the state playoffs during final season ... as a junior, named a first-team all-district selection at defensive back and a second-team pick at wide receiver ... finished the season with three interceptions, as team advanced to the playoffs ... led team with five interceptions as a sophomore ... also a standout on the track.
