Biography

2018: Started all 11 games at defensive end for the Redbirds ... recorded 26 tackles, a sack and two tackles-for-loss on the season ... also credited with a pass breakup and two quarterback hurries ... posted a season-high six tackles in the win at Colorado State (Sept. 22) ... had a sack and five tackles in the season-finale win over Youngstown State (Nov. 17).

2017: Played in 10 games, with nine starts at defensive end ... finished the season with 40 tackles, 3.5 sacks and seven tackles-for-loss ... also forced and recovered a fumble ... posted a career-high nine tackles with a sack and forced fumble in a win at Eastern Illinois (Sept. 16) ... had four tackles and a sack at Northern Arizona (Oct. 7) ... had seven stops, a TFL and a pass breakup in the win over nationally-ranked South Dakota (Oct. 21) ... tallied a sack and five tackles in the season finale against North Dakota State (Nov. 18).

2016: Saw action in 11 games, with 10 starts at defensive end ... tallied 39 total tackles and added 4.5 TFLs in his first season playing at ISU … set a career-best with eight tackles at North Dakota State (Oct. 1) … recorded six tackles, including his first career tackle-for-loss against Youngstown State (Oct. 8) ... was also credited with a quarterback hurry against the Penguins … added a sack and three tackles in the regular-season finale versus Missouri State (Nov. 12) ... finished the season with a sack and two TFLs in the FCS playoff game at Central Arkansas (Nov. 26).

2015: Redshirted.

Barrington HS: Four-year varsity player for head coach Joe Sanchez … Chicago Tribune All-State special mention selection following senior season … all-area and all-conference pick … recorded 72 tackles, 13 sacks, one interception and forced a fumble in final prep season … the interception led to a touchdown in the state playoffs … led team to the state playoff quarterfinals and a 10-2 overall record … helped team to a conference championship and a 10-2 record as a junior … also played basketball and was a member of the track and field team for one season. 

Personal: Born Feb. 6, 1997, in Elk Grove Village, Illinois … son of Al and Maggie Harris … has an older sister, Emily … his father, Al, was an All-American in college at Arizona State and played 12 seasons in the NFL with the Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles … plans to major in kinesiology.
