2013: Member of the practice squad.

2012: Redshirted.

Glenwood HS: Two-year starter for head coach Dan Rourke ... named team captain and was a Central State 8 all-conference special mention selection as a senior ... helped lead team to the IHSA state playoff quarterfinals ... also part of the state runner-up team as a junior.

Personal: Born June 18, 1993, in Springfield, Ill. ... son of David and Marjorie Nicholson ... youngest of three siblings ... his sister, Shannon, was a four-year star pitcher for ISU.
