Oakwood HS: Three-year starter under head coach Jeremy Dierksmeyer … as a senior, tallied 500 receiving yards and 490 rushing yards … named to the all-conference team and was a special mention all-state selection … threw for 630 yards junior year at the quarterback position … throughout high school football career was awarded the K-Rock Player of the Game twice … was also a standout in basketball.
