2023-24 (Illinois State)
Saw action in 17 games during the year, averaging 10.7 minutes played per game. Averaged 3.2 points and 3.8 rebounds per game, while dishing out eight assists with seven blocked shots and five steals. Scored a career-high eight points on November 22 against Wright State, and pulled down a career-best 12 rebounds at Saint Louis on November 11. Made 8-of-8 free throws against the Wright State Raiders on November 22, and converted on 71 percent of his free tries (17-of-24) during the season. Twice had three blocked shots during the year, in the season opener on November 6 against Lourdes and on December 17 against North Dakota State.
2022-23 (Illinois)
Played in 16 games for the Illini, coming off the bench in each. Saw a season-high 13 minutes at Minnesota on January 16, scoring a career-high-tying four points. Lieb was a part of an Illinois squad that advanced to the NCAA Tournament, playing its first round game against Arkansas. Pulled down four rebounds against Bethune-Cookman on December 29. Had two blocks in a minute of work against Syracuse on November 29.
2021-22 (Illinois)
Saw action in 10 games as a sophomore, coming off the bench in every one. Twice played five minutes, including on November 12 against Arkansas State and against Saint Francis (Pa.) on December 18. Twice scored four points on the season, in each of the games in which he played five minutes. Pulled down three rebounds against Arkansas State with a blocked shot. Was a member of the Illinois team that played in the 2022 NCAA Tournament with a win over Chattanooga and a second-round loss to nationally ranked Houston.
2020-21 (Illinois)
Saw action in five games as a freshman, scoring his first collegiate points against North Carolina A&T on November 25 with four total points in the game. Pulled down three rebounds - a season-high - against the Aggies while dishing out an assist in four minutes of action against Chicago State on November 26. Later that season, the Illini made a trip to the NCAA Tournament, topping Drexel in the opening round before falling to Loyola Chicago in the second round.
HIGH SCHOOL (Deerfield HS)
Was named Third Team All-State by the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association, and was named All-Conference in the Central Suburban League North. He averaged 13.5 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks as a senior, helping to lead his team to a 20-11 overall record, including an IHSA Class 3A regional championship appearance in the sectional semifinals.
