Pulled from redshirt status during his freshman season at UTEP in 2015-16 following two injuries to the Miners’ frontcourt • As a freshman at UTEP, appeared in 14 games and scored 12 points with five rebounds in 50 minutes • Shot 50 percent (5-for-10) from the field and 50 percent (2-for-4) at the free throw line • Made his UTEP debut against Florida A&M (Nov. 24) and scored four points in 11 minutes • As a senior at Mahomet-Seymour High School in Mahomet, Illinois, contributed 13 points and 7.9 rebounds per game, with 42 blocks • Led the Bulldogs to the IHSA 3A Super-Sectional, where they came up a win short of a berth in the state semifinals • Earned a spot on The Pantagraph All-Area Team and was selected to the All-Corn Belt Conference First Team • Was a three-year member of Mahomet’s varsity basketball team • Also played baseball and football in high school and was an honor roll student.
