Biography

2010-11 (Illinois State): Played in 29 games with one starting assignment • Scored in double-figures six times, including a season-best 14 points twice • Tossed in 14 points in the season-opener against SIU Edwardsville (Nov. 14) and scored another 14 tallies at Arkansas-Little Rock (Nov. 21) • Earned his first ISU career start against Montana State (Dec. 4) • Dished out a career-best five assists against South Dakota (Nov. 26) • Made at least one three-pointer in 13 games.

2009-10 (Illinois State): Sat out the 2009-10 season to meet NCAA residency rules.

2008-09 (Fordham): Appeared in 19 games at guard and started three • Took a leave of absence from the team Feb. 12th following the death of a personal friend • Ranked fifth on the team with 8.2 points per game • Third on the team with 32 three-pointers made • Also had 25 assists and 14 steals • Scored in double figures seven times • Began his collegiate career with 24 points against Columbia (Nov. 14), setting a Fordham record for most points scored by a freshman in his debut • Thanks to his performance against Columbia, he was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week (Nov. 16) • Tossed in 11 points at Villanova (Nov. 17) • Finished with 12 points, including the game-tying three-pointer and game-winning layup at St. Bonaventure (Jan. 28) • Grabbed a season-best five rebounds against James Madison (Nov. 30) • Matched that with five boards and added six points in win over Lafayette (Dec. 8) • Coached by Dereck Whittenburg.

2007-08 (Brewster Academy): Led the Bobcats to the 2008 New England Prep School Athletic Conference (NEPSAC) Class A Championship • Averaged 13.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game as Brewster went 31-4 on the season, 16-0 in the conference, setting a school record for most wins in a season • Scored a team-high 20 points, including four three-pointers, in Brewster's 69-65 overtime win over Winchendon Prep in the NEPSAC Championship game • Netted 25 points in Brewster's 95-74 semifinal win over South Kent, connecting on five three-pointers • Appeared in the Rose Hill Gym with the Bobcats in the 2008 National Prep School Championship Tournament, where Brewster advanced to the semifinals of the tournament • Coached by Jason Smith.

Thornwood HS: A two-time all-state and all-area selection • Averaged 12.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists as a senior and was a 2007 McDonald's All-American nominee for the state of Illinois • Earned IBCA Third Team All-State honors as well as Chicago Sun Times All-Area accolades • Selected to play in the Windy City All-Star Game and the McLegends All-Star game as well as the 33rd Annual City vs. Suburban All-Star game • A two-time SICA East All-Conference pick, a two-time State Farm Holiday Classic All-Tournament selection and a two-time Lincoln-Way East Tournament Most Valuable Player choice • Served as a team captain • Averaged a team-best 17.1 points per game, hitting 74-of-169 three-point attempts, along with 6.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists per contest as a junior, leading the team to a 24-6 record and a third place finish at the 2006 Illinois AA state championship tournament • Received IBCA All-State honors as a junior • Carried a 4.0 grade-point average • Member of the National Honor Society • Coached by Bob Curran • Prior to attending Thornwood, he went to Julian High School for one year.
