Played in eight tournaments and 22 rounds for the Redbirds as a freshman, averaging 76.1 strokes per round. He had his season-low score of 69 in the second round of the Tiger Invitational. He had fourrounds during the year at or under par, and his top finish came at the Purdue Fall Individual, where he tied for ninth. His low tournament score came at the Tiger Invitational on April 6-7. His 69 is tied for the 11th-best round by a freshman in school history, while his two-round score of 147 at the Purdue Individual is the eighth-lowest 36-hole tournament score by a freshman. His four rounds at or under par is tied for the 10th most by a Redbird freshman, and his scoring average is 17th-lowest by a freshman in school history.

PRIOR TO ILLINOIS STATE

Cuellar, a native of Madrid, Spain, is a member of the Spanish U18 National Team, and was a member of the U18 Madrid squad, had two wins and 20 top-10 finishes in 36 World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) events. He finished 10th or better at the U14, U16, and U18 National Championships. In 2024 he placed 26th at the U18 Spanish International Championship with rounds of 71, 74, 76, and 73. He won the U18 Madrid Open with rounds of 74, 69, and 70, and took first at the 2024 Faldo Series Finals Spain Championship (73-67-75). He is a Royal Madrid Federation High Performance Team Member.
