Biography
2005-06: Did not compete.
2004-05: Placed sixth in the javelin at both the Central Collegiate Championships (140-2) and Saluki Spring Classic (125-10).
2003-04: Joined the Redbirds during the outdoor season ... finished seventh in the javelin at the SIU-E Twilight (124-4) ... placed 14th at the MVC Outdoor Championships in the javelin (138-7).
At College of DuPage: Two-time cross country captain ... first-team all-Illinois in the 4x800 relay ... second-team all-Illinois in the 10,000-meter run ... second team all-American in the 4x800 relay.
Personal: Born 1/28/81 ...son of Michael and Lois McDermott ... majoring in English education.
