2005-06: Recorded a third-place finish in the discus at the Illinois Invite with a throw of 134-04 and was 12th in the hammer throw (137-01) ... took 10th-place in the weight throw at the Friday Night Classic at Eastern Illinois with a throw of 42-02.75.
At Atwood-Hammond: Placed fifth in the discus at the IHSA state meet his senior year and sixth his junior year ... all-conference performer both years ... team captain senior year ... also an all-conference performer in basketball.
