Indoor: Ranks No. 2 in the weight throw on the ISU track & field top-10 list...Finished in the top-3 in the weight throw in every meet he competed in, including four first-place finishes in the event...Crowned MVC Champion in the weight throw at the MVC Indoor Championships with a mark of 69-06.25 ft...Qualified for the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in the weight throw and recorded a personal-best mark of 71-01.75 ft. to finish sixth, earning First Team All-America honors.

Outdoor: Picked up a top-five finish at the Jim Duncan Invitational with a 47-08.00 throw in the shot put...Posted five consecutive-top-five finishes in the hammer throw, including two first place finishes...Opened up the season with a first-place finish at the SIUE Cougar Invitational with a mark of 187-03...Earned his best mark of the season in the hammer throw with a mark of 204-04 ft. at the Bill Cornell Spring Classic...Notched a first-place finish at the Redbird Spring Invite in the hammer toss with a throw of 189-04...Posted 11th-place finishes in both the shot put and the hammer throw at the MVC Outdoor Championships...Finished in 20th in the hammer throw at the NCAA West Preliminary with a mark of 202-00...Continues to hold the second-best hammer throw mark in ISU history.
2011-12 Season
Indoor: Finished 12th at the NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships (March 9) in the weight throw with a mark of 65-11.75, earning second-team All-America honors ... took third in the weight throw at the Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships (Feb. 25) in the weight throw with a mark of 67-04.75, earning All-Valley honors...threw a season-best mark of 69-04.00 in the weight throw at the NCAA Qualifier (March 2) to qualify for the NCAA Championships, the second-furthest in ISU history ... took first at the Big Meet (Feb. 10) in the weight throw with a mark of 66-02.25 ...posted back-to-back first place finishes in the weight throw and weight throw invite at the Keck Invitational (Feb. 3), with marks of 64-07.25 and 64-02.00, respectively.
