Senior (2023): Played in 47 games for the ‘Birds, making 44 starts…NFCA All-Region Second Team honoree...NFCA All-Region Second Team honoree...All-MVC First Team honoree… MVC Scholar-Athlete First Team…CSC Academic All-District …NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete… batting average (.316), hits (36), doubles (8), runs scored (21), RBI (33), and on-base percentage (.414)…She hit nine home runs on the season with eight doubles…Behind the plate she posted an almost perfect fielding percentage (.991) with 196 putouts, 24 assists, while throwing out 12 runners…In the 8-5 victory of Valparaiso (Mar.24) she went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs…Against Evansville (April 30) she went 3-for-4 with 4 RBIs, 2 runs scored, a double, and a home run…She earned MVC Player of the Week (Mar. 28) after posting 7 hits, 7 RBIs, with 7 runs scored, with two doubles, two home runs (a solo HR and a 3-run HR), and a walk in the series sweep of Valparaiso...She posted a .625 SLG% in 114 at-bats.

Junior (2022): Made 40 appearances with 38 starts primarily as a catcher…All-MVC First Team Selection and MVC All-Tournament Team Selection…MVC Scholar-Athlete Honorable Mention…Blasted 12 home runs and 3 doubles across her 30 hits, meaning half of her season hits went for extra bases…First Redbird player to hit more than 10 home runs in a season since 2017…Turned in a total of 8 multi-RBI games which was tied for the team lead…Blasted first home run of the season against Kansas City (Feb. 12)…Had two 4-RBI performances…The first was at Bradley on April 19 when she went 2-for-3 with a home run and a run scored…The second was in the MVC Tournament victory over No. 3 Southern Illinois (May 12) when she hit two home runs and was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and also drew a walk…Nine of 12 home runs came against MVC opponents…Led the team in slugging percentage (.683) and home runs (12)…Was a perfect 3-for-3 in the semifinal MVC tournament game against Missouri State (May 13) with three singles, one a bunt, and an RBI (also her 100th career game)…Was a combined 4-for-7 with 2 HR, 3 RBI, and 2 runs scored in the doubleheader against MVC regular season champion Northern Iowa (April 24)…Finished junior season with 195 putouts, 28 assists and 6 errors for a .974 fielding percentage…Caught 12 runners stealing.

Sophomore (2021): Started in all but one game for the Redbirds, primarily as a catcher … Turned in a pair of multi-hit games in wins over Coastal Carolina (March 7) and Indiana State (March 20) … Jacked four home runs, including a pair against the Sycamores … Held a five-game hitting streak from March 20-28 … Turned in a career-high five RBIs in a 2-for-3 outing against Indiana State (March 20) … Finished the season with the fourth-most RBIs (20) and third-most walks (19) … Went a perfect 5-for-5 in stolen bases … Paired 283 putouts with 11 assists for a .993 fielding percentage.

Freshman (2020): Made an appearance in 20 games for the Redbirds with 17 starts as a true freshman … Earned her first collegiate start vs. nationally-ranked Michigan (Feb. 7), drawing a pair of walks against the Wolverines … Registered her first collegiate hit against Georgia State (Feb. 8), entering a five-game hitting streak … Turned in a pair of multi-hit games against Boise State (Feb. 15) and Austin Peay (Feb. 29) … Finished second among freshmen in batting average (.229), while tallying four doubles and seven walks – the second most on the team … Shortened season due to COVID-19 pandemic and the cancellation of events and championships by the NCAA.

Mt. Zion HS: Four-year starter of Mt. Zion High School's softball and volleyball teams … Member of the National Honor Society for her academic success … Tied her high school's single season home run record (11) her freshman season, before breaking it her sophomore year (14) and breaking it again last season (17) … Helped her team win a conference championships her senior year, while helping her team finish fourth in state her junior season and third in state her senior year … Four-time first-team all-conference selection in softball, while being named MVP in softball the last two seasons … Earned back-to-back Player of the Year awards to wrap up her high school career … Named First Team All-State in 2019.

Personal: Daughter of Doug and Courtney Kennedy … Born Aug. 30 in Decatur, Illinois … Has one older sibling, Dakota … Chose ISU because it was close to home and had a great softball program … Plans to study exercise science while attending ISU.
