Sophomore (2023): Played in 15 games for the ‘Birds, making one start…NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete honoree while earning a 4.0 cumulative GPA…Had one putout on the year, against the University of Florida, to earn a 1.000 fielding percentage…Scored eight runs, including a streak of five games in a row with one run scored (4/14-5/6).

Freshman (2022): Made three appearances in the circle for the Redbirds…Tossed a total of 3.2 innings with four strikeouts…Made her collegiate debut at No. 23/21 Arizona State (Feb. 19) and pitched 1.1 innings while picking up her first career strikeout…Threw a career high 1.2 innings against Ohio (Feb. 25)…Final appearance of the season was versus Illinois (April 6)…Had one at bat during the season at Florida Atlantic (March 5).

Illini Bluffs HS: Four-year utility player for Illini Bluffs High School softball team … Earned All-Conference honors in softball as a freshman … Helped her team finish second at state her sophomore season and as a senior, helped lead her team to Class 1A IHSA State Champions with a 17-1 record ... Batted .500 as a senior with nine doubles, 26 RBI, and 12 stolen bases ... Earned first team All-State, first team All-Tomahawk Conference, first team All-ICAC Conference and All-Area awards in her senior season ... Won three state titles with her travel softball team and collected several tournament MVP honors … Also participated in basketball, volleyball, and cross country … Part of first volleyball team to make it to state in school history … Basketball team leader in three-point shots as a freshman, sophomore and junior.

Personal: Daughter of Brian and Molly Hicks … Born on February 18 … Has five sisters: Hanna, Madi, Maci, Lilly and Sofia … Sister, Hanna, also plays for the Redbirds … Two of her aunts played collegiate softball and then played in the Senior Olympics, where they won gold twice … Plans on majoring in education while attending ISU.
