5th Year (2022): Made 32 appearances with 26 starts…Had 18 starts in right field, 1 in center field and 7 as the designated player…Was 1-for-3 with a run scored and a stolen base in the Redbirds’ first game of the season against (RV) South Florida (Feb. 10)…Went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI against Cal (Feb. 18)…Had a season high two stolen bases versus Indiana State (April 3)…Ended her career at ISU on a 7-game hit streak and 10-game reached base safely streak – both her longest of the season…Had a career high two RBI against Indiana State in the Redbirds first game of the MVC Tournament (May 12)…Ended the season with 25 putouts, two assists and two errors.
Senior (2021): Appeared in 28 games with 13 starts for the Redbirds … 11 of her 13 starts were made in right field, with one at shortstop and the other as the designated hitter … in her first appearance of the season she was hit by a pitch as a pinch hitter and scored the final run of a 4-0 shutout of UNF (Feb. 11) … her lone appearance at shortstop was in a win over Northern Kentucky (Feb. 27) where she went 1-for-2 with a stolen base … made her first start in right field against Kentucky (March 5) when she went 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored … Moffett was a perfect 4-4 in stolen base attempts … finished the season with eight putouts and two assists.
Junior (2020): Appeared and started in 12 games for the Redbirds in her first season at ISU, primarily serving as a middle infielder … Made her ISU debut against nationally-ranked Michigan (Feb. 7), going 1-for-4 with a run scored and RBI … Turned in a multi-hit performance in a win over Detroit Mercy (Feb. 16), going 2-for-3 with two runs scored and her lone double of the season … Went 1-for-1 in stolen bases … Shortened season due to COVID-19 pandemic and the cancellation of events and championships by the NCAA.
2019 (John A. Logan): Registered 58 hits, eight doubles, four triples, seven home runs, 43 RBIs and 20 stolen bases during her sophomore campaign … Finished the season with a .395 batting average, .448 on-base percentage and .646 slugging percentage … Earned a spot on the 2019 GRAC All-Region Team and GRAC All-Tournament Team … Helped her team reach the GRAC Final Four with a 35-18 overall record.
2018 (John A. Logan): Registered 68 hits, 14 doubles, four triples, four home runs, 52 RBIs and 13 stolen bases in her rookie season … Finished the season with a .447 batting average, .466 on-base percentage and .671 slugging percentage … Earned All-GRAC honors and a spot on the 2018 GRAC All-Tournament Team … Helped her team reach the GRAC Final Four with a 30-13 overall record.
Herrin HS: Was a four-year starter at the shortstop position at Herrin High School … Helped her team to an overall record of 97-36, including an impressive school-record of 33 wins her senior year … Four-time all-conference performer and two-time All-South Region selection … Collected All-State honors her junior year ... Named her team’s MVP during her sophomore and junior seasons … Helped her team to four conference championships, two regional championships and a sectional championship title … Ended her high school career with a program-record 30 home runs, while ranking 18th in the state of Illinois with 57 career doubles.
Personal: Daughter of Martin and Gina Moffett … Born on Aug. 8 in Carbondale, Illinois … Has a younger sister, Marin, who is a gymnast … Comes from an athletic family – her aunt (Angie Cheatham) played softball at John A. Logan College, while her grandfather played football at Missouri … Plans to major in park and recreation while attending ISU.
