Prior to Illinois State: Pozza attended North Little Rock High School her freshman year and led the team in batting average, doubles, home runs and RBIs...named to the 6A All-Conference and All-State teams that same year...Moved to Sylvan Hills High School for her sophomore season and led her team in every offensive category that year, slashing .571/.682/1.143 with eight doubles, eight home runs and 40 RBIs...In her junior season, Pozza batted .648 with a 1.911 OPS in 23 games played...Two-time 5A All-Conference and All-State selection and was named the 5A Offensive Player of the Year as a junior.

Travel Team: Pozza has played for Top Gun National the last three seasons, batting .386 with 42 doubles, 28 home runs and 98 RBIs....Ranked 56th overall and 32nd at her position (catcher) in the Class of 2026 Extra Innings Elite rankings....Her team won the Triple Crown Sports National Championship in 2025.

Personal: She is the daughter of Chris and Jackie Pozza and has one sibling, Jase....Her father, Chris, is the Director of Player Development at Arkansas Prospects Baseball Academy, played collegiate baseball at Southern Arkansas and was a member of the St. Louis Cardinals organization...Her mother, Jackie, played softball at Oklahoma Panhandle State University...Pozza plans to major in exercise science with aspirations to become a sports physical therapist. She chose Illinois State because she liked the coaching staff and felt at home.
