CAREER RESULTS
2022-2023 OUTDOOR (Jr.): Competed in seven evens in the outdoor season where he placed first in the shot put at the 2023 EIU Big Blue with 17.61m (57' 9.5''). Finished second at the Gibson Invitational in shot put with 17.64m (57' 10.5"). At the Wisconsin Classic he came away with first place in the shot put with 17.90m (58' 8.75'')...At the 2023 MVC Outdoor Track and Field Championship he placed fifth in the shot put with 17.63m (57' 10.25"). Set a personal record in the weight throw with 62.58m (205' 4") while placing second.
2022-2023 INDOOR (Sr.): Competed in nine meets during the indoor season with a first place finish in the weight throw with 17.06 (57' 9') at the John Coughlan Invite. In the same meet he placed second in the shot put with 16.71m (57' 11''). Placed first in the shot put and weight throw at the Blue Demon Holiday Invite with 19.63m (64' 5'') and 17.65m (57' 11''). The next weekend he set a personal record in the wight throw with a first place finish with 19.78m (64' 10.75''). Would take first place in the shot put at the Larry Wieczorek Invitational with 18.17m 59' 7.5"). Took first at the 2023 Friday Night Special in the shot put with a new personal record at 18.59 ( 61' 0'').... At the 2023 Indoor Track and Field Championship he took home first in shot put with 18.46m (60' 6.75'').
2021-2022 Outdoor (R-So.): Competed in nine meets during the 2022 outdoor season… Opened at the 94th annual Texas Relays in the shot put, finishing 12th with a mark of 15.81m (51’ 10.5”)… Recorded a personal best mark in the hammer throw of 56.58m (185’ 7”) to crack the top-ten all-time list in the event at the Redbird Challenge… Also recorded a seasons best throw in the discus at the meet, with a mark of 49.21m (161’ 5”)… Competed at the 2022 Drake Relays in the shot put, placing 17th in the field with a mark of 16.73m (54’ 10.75”)… Threw a seasons-best in the shot put of 17.54m (57’ 6.5”) to take fifth at the Wisconsin Classic… Competed in all three throwing events at the MVC Championships, contributing points by finishing eighth in the shot put with a mark of 16.73m (54’ 10.75”)
2021-2022 Indoor (Jr.): Competed in eight meets during the indoor season… Opened with a win in the John Coughlan Invite weight throw with a toss of 19.12m (62’ 8.75”)… Also threw a seasons-best mark in the shot put at the John Coughlan Invite of 17.88m (58’ 8)… Recorded a personal best mark of 19.69m (64’ 7.25”) in the weight throw at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational to rank seventh on the Illinois State all-time list… Contributed points in the MVC Championship by placing fourth in the weight throw with a mark of 19.22m (63’ 0.75”) and medaling third in the shot put with a toss of 17.84m (58’ 6.5”)
2020-21 OUTDOOR (Fr.): Competed at five meets during his first outdoor season as a Redbird...Threw a personal-best mark of 52.51 meters (172-3 ft.) in the hammer throw at the Clark-Wood Open...Threw 17+ meters in the shot put on three occasions during the 2021 outdoor season...Launched personal bests in both the shot put and the discus at the MVC Championships, falling just short of All-Valley honors in the shot put with a fourth-place finish (18.17 meters/59-7.5 ft.) and scoring points in the discus with a seventh-place finish (50.60 meters/166-0 ft.)...Also competed in the hammer throw at the conference meet...Qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary Round in the shot put after his huge throw at conference...Took 42nd overall at the NCAA West Prelims.
2020-21 INDOOR (So.): Competed at two meets during his sophomore indoor season, including the MVC Championships...Recorded a season best of 16.64 meters (54-7.25 ft.) in the shot put and a season best of 17.74 meters (58-2.5 ft.) in the weight throw at the Jack Jennett Invite...Scored points for the 'Birds in the weight throw at the MVC Championships, finishing seventh overall with a throw of 17.18 meters (56-4.5 ft.).
2019-20 OUTDOOR (Fr.): Canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2019-20 INDOOR (Fr.): Competed at five meets during his debut season for the 'Birds...Opened the season with a winning throw in the weight throw, posting a mark of 15.68 meters (51-5.5 ft.)...Won the shot put at the Coughlan-Malloy Cup with a personal-best mark of 17.14 meters (56-3 ft.), which is the seventh-best mark in ISU indoor track & field history...Scored four points for the Redbirds in both the shot put (one point) and the weight throw (three points) at the MVC Indoor Championships, finishing eighth in the shot put with a mark of 16.52 meters (54-2.5 ft.) and sixth in the weight throw with a personal-best mark of 18.15 meters (59-6.75 ft.).
ROMEOVILLE HS: A four-year letterwinner in track & field and a two-year letterwinner in wrestling...Named team MVP his senior year...Earned all-conference honors as a sophomore, junior and senior...Earned all-sectional honors twice in his career...As a senior, he earned All-American, All-State and All-Sectional honors...Helped his team to a sectional championship as a junior.
