CAREER RESULTS

2022-2023 OUTDOOR (Jr.): Competed in seven meets in the outdoor season where she took second in the shot put with 14.97 (49' 1.5")...Placed first in shot put an disc throw at the Gary Wieneke Memorial with 14.27m (46' 10") and 46.31(151' 11")...At the 2023 MVC Outdoor Track and Field Championship she took seventh in the disc throw with 46.63 (153' 0'') and eight in the shot put with 14.54m (47' 8.5").

2022-2023 INDOOR (Jr.): Competed in nine meets where she placed second in the shot put at the John Coughlan Invite with a throw of 13.19m (43' 3.25")...Took first at the 2023 Keck Select in the shot put while also setting a personal-best with 14.98m (49' 1.75")...Finished first in the 2023 EIU Friday Night Special with 14.54m (47' 8.5'').

2021-2022 OUTDOOR (So.): Competed in five meets where she set a personal-best in the hammer throw with 41.41m (135' 10"), while also placing second in the shot put with 14.50m (47' 7")....Took first in the shot put at the Redbird Challenge with 14.18m (46' 6.25")...At the Wisconsin Classic she set a personal-best in the disc throw at 47.27m (155' 1") 

2021-2022 INDOOR (So.): Competed in nine events where she finished second in shot put at the John Coughlan Invite with 13.66m (44' 9.75")...Took first at the Coughlan-Malloy Cup in the shot put with 13.88m (45' 6.5")...Set a personal record in the weight throw at the Illini invite with 14.98m (49' 1.75"0...At the MVC Indoor Track and Field Championship she finished 12th in the shot put with 13.33m (43' 9"). 

2020-21 OUTDOOR (Fr.): Competed at four meets during the 2021 outdoor campaign, recording personal bests in all three of her events at the Pacesetter Sports Invite...Placed seventh in the shot put, throwing over 13 meters for the first time in her career with a mark of 13.27 meters (43-6.5 ft.)...Recorded personal-best marks of 37.95 meters (124-6 ft.) in the discus and 40.86 meters (134-1 ft.) in the hammer throw.

2020-21 INDOOR (Fr.): Competed at three meets during her debut season for the Redbirds...Placed seventh in the shot put with a personal-best throw of 12.63 meters (41-5.25 ft.) at the Don DeNoon Dual.

DUNLAP HS: Qualified for the IHSA 3A Girls State Championships three times...A three-time Mid-Illini Conference Champion...Earned All-State honors at the 2018 IHSA State Championships, finishing ninth in the shot put...Recorded personal-best marks in both the shot put (41-9 ft.) and the discus (125-7 ft.) at the 2019 Moline Sectional...Owns the Dunlap HS shot put school record in both indoor and outdoor track & field...Helped her team to a state title as a sophomore.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Denardrick Howard and Carmen Butler...Has two siblings, Nehemiah and Faith...Brother Nehemiah plays football at Eureka College...Plans to major in Allied Health Professions with career aspirations of becoming a physician assistant...Was a member of the Dunlap HS honor roll all four years.
