Indoor: Competed at the NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships in the 60-meter dash, earning Second-Team All-American honors for the second time of his career...at the NCAA Championships, placed 14th with a time of 6.80...crowned the MVC 60-meter Champion, crossing the finish line first in an ISU school record, MVC meet record, and NCAA qualifying time of 6.60...also helped the Redbirds' 4x400-meter relay squad to an MVC title, as the squad crossed the tape first in 3:13.91...garnered All-Valley honors in the 200-meter dash, finishing second in 21.37, a mark which ranks fifth all-time in ISU history...during the regular season, went undefeated in the 60-meter dash, winning every preliminary and finals heat that he competed in...named the Enterprise Bank MVC Scholar-Athlete of the Week on 12/13/2017 for his 6.66 60-meter performance that he posted in the preliminary round at the EIU Early Bird Meet...won the 200-meter at the Meyo Invite with a time of 21.43...also helped ISU's 4x400-meter relay team break the school record at the Meyo Invite, clocking in at 3:11.59 to place third.
Outdoor: Competed in two meets during the outdoor campaign...posted season-bests in the 100-meter dash (10.42) and 200-meter dash (21.24) at the Sun Angel Classic, placing fourth and seventh, respectively...helped the Redbirds' 4x100-meter (40.69) and 4x400-meter (3:15.22) relays to first place finishes at the Redbird Invite...4x100-meter mark of 40.69 ranks sixth on ISU's top-10 list.
2016-17
Indoor: Won every event he competed in during back-to-back weekends at the EIU Early Bird Meet and the Terre Haute Double Dual Meet...named MVC Male Track Athlete of the Week on January 17, 2017, for his clean sweep in the 60-meter dash (6.80) and 200-meter dash (21.96) at the Terre Haute Double Dual Meet...finished sixth and recorded a season-best in the 200-meter dash (21.50) at the Iowa State Classic...time currently ranks fifth in Illinois State history...competed in the 4x400-meter relay, 200-meter dash, and 60-meter dash at MVC Championships...crowned MVC Champion in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:16.64...mark stands as the ninth-fastest in Redbird Track and Field history...placed second and earned All-MVC honors in the 200-meter dash, tying his season-best time of 21.50...broke the school record (which had stood for 21 years) in the 60-meter dash en route to becoming the MVC Champion in the event...his time of 6.64 qualified him for the NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships...became Illinois State's first male recipient of the MVC Freshman of the Year Award...at NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships, placed 13th in the 60-meter dash prelims with a time of 6.77...this mark earned him Second-Team All-American honors.
Outdoor: Placed in the top-three of every event that he competed in all the way through MVC Championships...won the 100-meter dash at the Lenny Lyles-Clark Wood Invitational and recorded a time of 10.43...placed first in the 200-meter dash and posted a personal-record of 20.89 at the Ole Miss/Joe Walker Invitational...mark currently stands as the fifth-fastest in Illinois State history...competed in the 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash, 4x100-meter relay, and 4x400-meter relay at MVC Championships...finished second and earned All-MVC Honors in the 100-meter dash with a personal-best time of 10.26...time is tied for the second-fastest in Illinois State history...placed third and earned All-MVC honors in the 200-meter dash...MVC Champion in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 40.45...mark is the third-fastest in the Redbird Track and Field record books...placed second and earned All-MVC Honors in the 4x400-meter relay...time of 3:11.06 stands ninth in the Illinois State record books...named MVC Male Outdoor Freshman of the Year for his efforts at the MVC Championships...qualified for the NCAA Division I West Preliminary Round in the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash...finished 38th in the 100-meter dash and 27th in the 200-meter dash.
Lockport Township High school: 5x state qualifier. All-Conference/All-State 2015, 2016. Indoor state champion in 60m dash 2016. Placed 2nd in both 100m dash/200m dash at IHSA Class 3a boys' state finals in 2016.
