Biography

2015-16

Indoor: The 2016 MVC women’s pole vault champion with a personal-best height of 4.01m (13-01.75) which is ranked second on ISU’s all-time best list… earned first place at the Titan Open in pole vault…Placed second at the Illinois Orange & Blue Open with a mark of 3.97m (13-00.25). 

Outdoor: Broke the school record in pole vault at the NCAA West Preliminary Round with a height of 4.12m (13-06.25)...two-time Missouri Valley Conference Champion in the women's pole vault (13-05.75)...placed first at the Wisconsin Twilight (13-04.50), Redbird Invite (12-04) and the Gibson Invite (12-06) in the pole vault.

PRIOR TO ISU 


South Florida: 2015 NCAA Qualifier in pole vault...has the third-best pole vault mark in school history, with a height of 4.08m (13-04.50)

Cincinnati: competed two seasons...was third in the pole vault (12-07.5.0) at the BIG EAST Conference championship meet at the Armory in New York City.

Personal: Clay is a Normal, Ill., native, has earned a total of 10 Varsity letters in track, cross country and basketball at Normal Universtiy High School. As an All-State runner her freshman, Clay won a National Championship. She was also named to the All-State list in her senior year.
