2015-16

Indoor: Won the women’s 400-meter dash at the 2016 Missouri Valley Conference Championships, as she posted a personal-best time of 54.86 which is ranked second on ISU’s all-time best list… anchored the winning 4x400-meter relay which broke the school record and the Missouri Valley Conference Championship record with a time of 3:42.05… ran on the distance medley relay team at the Alex Wilson Invite that broke the school record with a time of 11:28.20..a part of first place victories in the 4x400m at Double Dual (3:50.50) and the GVSU Big Meet (3:42.68), which is third all-time at ISU…anchored in the 4x400m at the Meyo Invite and finished fifth with a time of 3:43.92.

Outdoor: first-time NCAA West Preliminary Round Qualifier in the 400-meter dash and the 4x400-meter relay, respectively...placed 19th in both events...captured her personal best and the second-fastest 400m in school history at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships at a time of 53.62 earning All-Valley honors as she placed second overalll...All-Valley honors in the 4x100-meter relay as the team placed second with a time of 46.26...MVC Champion in the 4x400-meter relay...placed sixth in the 200-meter dash at the MVC Championships and posted her personal-best time at 24.14 in the prelims...helped set a new school record in the 4x400-meter relay at the Drake Relays as the team ran a time of 3:38.20. 

2014-15

Indoor: Captured her personal-best time in the 600-meter dash at the EIU John Craft Invitational with a time of 1:37.49 and placed second overall...competed in the 200-meter dash at the Indiana Relays where she psoted  a time of 25.55….earned third place at the GVSU Big Meet Invite with a time of 25.17…captured a time of 25.09 at the Meyo Invitational…at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships clocked a time of 25.35 earning 13th place overall…competed in the 60-meter dash at the Indiana Relays receiving a time of 7.87…competed in the 400-meter dash at the Meyo Invitational and posted a time of 56.31… captured her personal-best 400-meter dash at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships with a time of 55.91 and placed fourth overall…ran in the 4 x 400 meter at the EIU John Craft where the squad earned first place with a time of 3:54.89…at the Double Dual posted a time of 3:55.56…earned a time of 3:46.00 at the Meyo Invitational…at the Indiana Relays ran in the 4 x 800 and earned a time of 9:22.38.

Outdoor: Earned her personal-best in the 400-meter dash at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships with a time of 54.88 placing second overall…at the Redbird Invite placed second in the 400-meter dash with a time of 56.40...completed in the 200-meter…at the Redbird Invite came in second place with a time of 24.61..ran in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the Illinois Twilight with a time of 46.02 and placed second overall…competed at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships where the team placed third with a time of 46.07…competed in the 4 x 400 at the Illinois Twilight and posted with a time of 3:49.72…captured a time of 3:46.42 at the Drake Relays...placed second at the Redbird Invite with a time of 3:50.68….at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships the squad placed seventh with a time of 3:50.55…at the Drake Relays competed in the 1,600 sprint medley relay with a clocked time of 4:00.23.

2013-14

Indoor: Posted a personal-best 60-meter time of 7.93 at the Orange and Blue Open … ran 7.97 at the Iowa State Classic … clocked a 60m time of 8.00 at Notre Dame … posted a personal-best performance at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships, clocking a 200m time of 25.27 to finish 13th …ran 25.46 at the Meyo Invitational … finished eighth at the Notre Dame Invitational with a 200m time of 25.62 … clocked a personal-best 400m time of 57.21 at the Valley Championships to place 11th … ran 57.23 at the Iowa State Classic to take 10th … a leg of the fifth-place 4x400m relay team that posted a time of 3:47.89 at the MVC Championships … ran a season-best time of 3:46.65 as a leg of the 4x400m relay team at Iowa State.

Outdoor:  Ran a personal-best 200-meter time of 24.56 at the Redbird Invite to finish third … clocked a time of 24.89 at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships to finish 12th … ran 25.14 at the Jesse Owens Classic and 25.19 at the Sea Ray Relays … notched a personal-best 400m time of 56.04 at the MVC Championships to place sixth and score points for the Redbirds … placed sixth at the Jesse Owens Classic with a 400m time of 56.67 … ran a leg of the 4x100m team that took sixth at the MVC Championships, clocking 47.34 … a member of the third-place 4x400m relay team that clocked a season-best time of 3:42.15 at the Sea Ray Relays … placed fourth as a part of the 4x400m relay team at the Valley Championships with a time of 3:43.73 … ran 3:43.64 as a leg of the 4x400m relay team at Drake.

2012-13 

Indoor: Finished fourth at the Redbird Open with a 60-meter dash time of 8.12...Captured a personal-best time of 8.03 in the 60-meter dash at the Redbird Invite to finish fifth...Notched a personal-best 26.51 in the 200-meter race at the Wisconsin Elite to finish sixth.

Outdoor: Tallied three top-five finishes in the 100-meter...Recorded personal-bests 12.06 in the 100-meter and 24.92 in the 200-meter at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships ...Captured five consecutive top-five finishes as a part of the 4X100-meter relay team.

PRIOR TO ISU

Amos Alonzo High School: Four-sport athlete at Amos Alonzo Stagg high school (soccer, track, gymnastics, volleyball)...team captain and team MVP on Regional champion soccer team as a senior...All-Conference, All-Sectional and All-Area selection...also won regional championships as a sophomore...3A state qualifier in the 400-meter relay in track as a senior, the first relay team in school history to qualify for state...set school records in the 200-meter dash, 400-meter relay, 800-meter relay (outdoor), 200-meter dash, 55-meter dash, 800-meter relay and 1,600-meter relay (indoor)...state qualifier in the vault as a senior for gymnastics...team captain and team MVP...3A track state qualifier in the 200M as a junior and freshman...gymnastics team won conference championship as a junior, a regional championships as a sophomore and placed 2nd in the state as a freshman.

Personal: Sarah Elizabeth Mussallem...daughter of John and Ellyn Mussallem...has two youngers sisters, Hannah and Allyson...also running track at ISU...majoring in elementary education.
