University High School: Four-year starter for the University High School’s softball team … Freshman season started all 35 games at short-stop and had a .426 batting average … Earned first team All-Conference and third team All-State honors as a freshman as she helped lead her team to Regional and Sectional champs … Started all 35 games at short-stop as a sophomore … batted .596 in 109 at bats which was the Highest All-Area batting average … Collected first team All-Conference, second team All-State and team MVP in her sophomore season … Selected first team All-State and first team All-Conference in her senior season as she led her team to Super Sectionals ... Four-time Academic All-Conference ... Also played volleyball for one season.
Personal: Daughter of Brady and Janelle Knight … Born on July 15 … Has one brother, Brevin, who currently plays golf at Heartland … Mother and uncle attended Illinois State and played tennis and basketball respectively … Father attended Illinois Wesleyan and played basketball and golf, uncle played basketball at Illinois Wesleyan and professionally in Europe, and cousin currently plays volleyball at Boston College … plans of majoring in psychology.
