Her low 18-hole tournament score was a 65 at the 2024 CLPGQ Beijing Orient Tianxing Golf Tournament. She ranks as the No. 88 prospect for the class of 2026 per Junior Golf Scoreboard and has demonstrated tremendous consistency with the ability to shoot low scores on any stage. She had two AJGA top-five finishes over the summer, placing fifth at the Nemacolin Junior Championship with rounds of 72, 69, and 77, while also placing fifth at the Renewal by Anderson Junior Open with rounds of 72, 72, and 76. She also tied for sixth at the 2025 AM Technical Solutions Junior, and eighth at the WVU Medicine United Hospital Center Junior Championship. Rounds of 72-69-65 landed Gao in the winner's circle at the 2024 CLPGQ Beijing Orient Tianxing Golf Tournament.
