Jennifer Wandt

Former All-Big 12 goalkeeper Jennifer Wandt is in her first season as an assistant coach for Illinois State soccer. 

Wandt enters her first stop in the coaching ranks after a two-year professional playing career for Trelleborgs FF in Trelleborg, Sweden. 

She graduated as the Baylor career and season record holder for shutouts and wins. She also holds the program mark for goalkeeper minutes played in a season. The Brookfield, Wisconsin native was an All-Big 12 Second Team selection as a senior in 2020, posting six clean sheets, a career-best .506 goals against average and a .896 save percentage. Through conference play she finished with a 0.51 GAA and an .896 save percentage en route to earning Baylor’s Big 12 Sportsperson of the Year nomination. Wandt also earned All-Big 12 Freshman team honors in 2017 and an All-Big 12 Second team selection in 2018, helping lead the Bears to an NCAA Elite 8 appearances both seasons. 

In the classroom, Wandt was a four-time Academic All-Big 12 selection, including a First Team honor in 2020. She graduated from Baylor with a bachelor's degree in political science and a master's degree in sport management.
