Kayla Mills

Mills is in her first year as Director of Operations entering the 2020-21 academic year.

Mills is a native to Southern California, making the decision to play for the University of Southern California Women’s soccer program. As a student-athlete at USC from 2013- 2016, Kayla and her team won a national championship in their final year. Mills was also an All-American and PAC-12 Defensive Player of the Year during her time at USC.

She was later drafted fourth overall to Sky Blue FC, now known as NJ/NY Gotham FC, in the 2017 draft for the National Women’s Soccer League. After a year and a half in the NWSL, Mills went to play overseas. She played in the second division French league for two years and in the final year of her career she played in the D1 Arkema Ligue, where she was afforded the opportunity to play against many great teams such as, Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique Lyonnais. Mills was also part of the U17, U20, and U23 United States national teams.

Mills studied communications at USC and plans on pursuing her Masters in Business Administration to eventually help close the socio-economic gaps that have been present in the past, with plans on ending the cycle in the near future.
