Junior Year (2020-21)

Competed in all five meets for the Redbirds … 2020-21 MVC Scholar-Athlete Team selection … Earned an All-MVC Honorable Mention nod after turning in a pair of top-eight finishes in the 200-yard butterfly (2:06.20) and 400-yard IM (4:31.21), each with season best times … Clocked in five top-five performances during the regular season, which included a win in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:27.93) in a dual meet win over Little Rock … Added another season best time at the Valley Championships in the 200-yard IM, clocking in a time of 2:05.88.

Sophomore Year (2019-20)

Competed in eight meets for the Redbirds, before the 2020 CSCAA National Invitational Championship was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic … Earned All-MVC First Team honors for finishing second in the 200-yard butterfly with a season-best time of 2:02.66 in the event … Placed in the top-10 in each of her events she competed in … Recorded season-best times at the Valley Championships in 200-yard IM (2:04.22) and 400-yard IM (4:24.72) events … Posted a pair of season bests in the 200-yard backstroke (2:12.94) and 100-yard butterfly (1:00.00) in a tri-meet against Illinois and Southern Illinois.

Freshman Year (2018-19)

Boasted five season best times at Northwestern’s TYR Invitational in the 50-yard breaststroke (32.33), 50-yard fly (26.21), 100-yard fly (56.93), 200-yard fly (2:04.95) and 400 IM (4:27.54) … Posted a season best time of 2:05.92 in the 200 IM at the 2019 MVC Championships … Turned in a season best performance in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:11.26) in ISU’s dual meet with Davenport.

Springfield High School: Obtained all-conference three years of high school, while participating in state for three years.

Personal: Born January 26, 2000, in Springfield, Illinois... daughter of David and Onya Rivera... has two younger siblings, Tanner and Hannah, and one older sibling, Thomas... plans to major in nursing.
