Colton Barb joined Illinois State Athletics in July of 2026 as an Events and Facilities Graduate Assistant.

Prior to Illinois State, Barb attended Heartland Community College where he ran Cross Country and Track for two years and graduated with his Associates in Arts. Barb transferred to the University of Missouri where he was an Event Management intern for the Athletics department. He graduated from Mizzou with a Bachelor of Science in Parks, Recreation, Sport and Tourism with an Emphasis in Sport Management.

Barb, a Germantown Hills, Ill., native, is pursuing a Master's in Sport Management within the Kinesiology and Recreation program and is set to graduate in May of 2028.
