JJ is in his first year serving as the Partnership Solutions Coordinator at Illinois State University. Originally from West Chester, Pennsylvania, he acts as the primary liaison between ISU Athletics and its corporate partners. In this role, he collaborates closely with the Redbird Sports Properties team to bring sponsorship and partnership agreements to life across digital, in-venue, and traditional marketing channels. He is also actively involved in hospitality initiatives and in-game promotions for corporate sponsors.

JJ joined Illinois State after graduating with his bachelor’s degree in Sports Marketing and Management from Indiana University in May 2025. During his time at Indiana, he worked as a Property Assistant with Learfield’s Indiana University Sports Properties. This experience gave him valuable insight into developing relationships with corporate sponsors and working alongside a Big Ten athletic department. He also gained additional experience as a Gameday Operations Intern with the Lancaster Stormers, an Atlantic League professional baseball team based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where he supported senior management in the execution of in-game promotions and fan engagement events to enhance the overall game-day experience.

In his free time, JJ enjoys spending time outside with friends and family, hiking, and supporting all of Indiana University’s sports programs.
