Kira Kanski joined Illinois State Athletics full time in January 2025 in the Athletics Ticket Sales and Services Office after initially joining the department as a graduate assistant in June 2024.

During her time with Illinois State Athletics, Kanski has helped lead a sales team that has increased ticket sales revenue across all four ticketed sports in each of the past two years. Her team has maintained season ticket renewal rates of over 90% for both men's and women's basketball. For the 2025-26 season, the team increased men's basketball new business revenue by 70% and women's basketball total season ticket revenue by 65%. Most recently, football new business revenue increased by more than 90% for the 2026 season.

In her current role, Kanski oversees ticket sales and revenue growth initiatives, including season ticket renewals, new business development, group sales, and fan retention efforts.

Kanski earned her bachelor's degree in finance from Illinois State University. A native of Mattoon, Illinois, Kanski (formerly Wolf) was also a student-athlete and member of the Illinois State women's golf team.

She currently resides in Bloomington, IL with her husband Tyler.
