Melanie Spellmeyer has served as the Director of Ushers and Ticket Takers at Illinois State University since July of 1999.

In her current role, Spellmeyer is responsible for staffing and managing the ushers and ticket takers for all regular-season home events, as well as Missouri Valley Conference Championships. She also staffs the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) volleyball and girls basketball state championships, Gamma Phi Circus, University High School Football and ISU spring and winter commencement ceremonies.

Prior to her current position, Spellmeyer assisted the Event Manager for Illinois State at all regular-season home events and IHSA events as a volunteer.
