NORMAL, Ill. -Â The Sept. 12 football game between Illinois State and Illinois at Memorial Stadium, in Champaign, Ill., has been officially scheduled for a 6 p.m. CT kickoff, according to a release sent out by the Big Ten Conference office.
The game will be televised live as part of the Big Ten Network, which will mark the first appearance by the Redbirds on the three-year-old station.
Prior to facing Illinois, new head football coach Brock Spack and the Redbirds will open the 2009 season against Eastern Illinois Sept. 3, in Charleston, Ill. To purchase season tickets for the 2009 Illinois State football season, please contact the ISU Athletics Ticket Office at (309) 438-8000.
