NORMAL, Ill. - The Illinois State football team heads into this weekend's game against a tough Missouri State team as the No. 25 ranked team in the country, thanks to big road win last week at South Dakota State. ISU head coach Brock Spack will preview the upcoming game with the Bears and will offer insights from last weekend's game against the nationally-ranked Jackrabbits Thursday night on The Brock Spack Show live from Schooners in Bloomington.

Sanders was named the Missouri Valley Football Conference Newcomer of the Week, after catching a career-high 10 passes against SDSU. The transfer from Eastern Michigan, set a new career high with those 10 catches for 82 yards and also hauled in his first career touchdown as a Redbird.
