NORMAL, Ill. - The No. 22 ranked Illinois State football team is preparing for this Saturday's Missouri Valley Football Conference contest at Southern Illinois, while the ISU Athletics Department is anticipating a big home crowd the following weekend for the annual Family Day game against Western Illinois on Nov. 5 with only 600 seats left unclaimed.
The 600 tickets remaining are a combination of reserved and general admission seating, while another 1,000 standing room only tickets will also be made available once the remaining 600 seats are sold. Kickoff for the Nov. 5 game is scheduled for 1 p.m.
With a sellout expected, the nationally-ranked Redbirds would only have one final regular-season home game this season. ISU hosts Northern Iowa, which is ranked No. 2 in this week's top-25 poll, on Nov. 19 at Hancock Stadium, at 11 a.m.
To purchase tickets for either of these Redbird football games, please call or walk up to the Illinois State Athletics Ticket Office at (309) 438-8000, or visit GoRedbirds.com.
