NORMAL, Ill. - Due to scheduling conflicts, Illinois State's football practice scheduled for Tuesday, April 12, has been postponed until Friday, April 15, as announced by the football office. Friday's practice time has not been determined and will be announced Wednesday afternoon.
The Redbirds will practice Thursday, April 14, at 3:30 p.m., as scheduled and will return to the field Friday prior to holding a closed scrimmage on Saturday, April 16, at noon at Hancock Stadium.
Illinois State will have two more practices on its regularly-scheduled days next week leading into the Red-White Scrimmage Saturday, April 23, at 1 p.m. at Hancock Stadium. The game will be broadcast live on WJBC AM 1230 and 93.7 FM, with Dick Luedke and Ted Schmitz on the call. Throughout the game, fans will have the chance to hear about offseason workouts and newcomers who have made an impact during spring workouts and also hear from coach Spack, who will join the broadcast during the fourth quarter.
