LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Illinois State track and field teams completed competition at the Lenny Lyles Invitational Friday, but inclement weather in the Louisville, Ky., area forced the cancellation of the final five events (men's and women's triple jumps, men's and women's 4x400-meter relays and the men's 3,000m steeplechase) of the meet at the Cardinal Park Track Stadium.

"We had a few good performances today, especially in the women's 800-meter run, as Jil Kerkman and Jess Husted ran personal-best times," said head track and field coach Elvis Forde.
