NORMAL, Ill. - Illinois State football fans who cannot commit to an entire six-game season ticket package now have another option - actually make that two options. The Redbird athletics department unveiled a pair of mini ticket plans Friday, which will go on sale Monday morning at 9 a.m.
Both of the mini plans will enable each patron to enjoy a reserved seat location for three Redbird home football games this season for only $58 apiece. Youth tickets (12 and under with a Reggie's Kids Club membership) are also available for $25 each.
The Homecoming mini plan features three games, including the 2012 Homecoming contest against Southern Illinois (Oct. 6). In addition, patrons will also have tickets to the season opener on Sept. 1 against Dayton, and the season finale against the reigning national champions, North Dakota State (Nov. 17).
The Family Weekend mini plan is the second three-game option available to ISU fans. This plan includes the 2012 Family Day game against Eastern Illinois on Sept. 15, as well as the Oct. 13 contest against Youngstown State and the Oct. 20 game against Missouri State.
