NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Illinois State men's tennis team fell to Middle Tennessee, 4-0, on the first day of the Middle Tennessee Shootout, ending the day's competition with four matches unfinished.
The contest, originally scheduled to be played in Murfreesboro, Tenn., was moved this morning due to inclement weather and was played indoors in Nashville instead.
The Redbirds fell to the Blue Raiders in all three doubles matches, and played three singles matches before the competition ended. Three singles matches went unfinished, including Singles No. 1, No. 5 and No. 6.

The Redbirds will resume play tomorrow when Illinois State faces host-team Middle Tennessee in the second to last match of the day.
