NORMAL, Ill. – One of the key aspects of football fall training camp is to get newcomers acclimated to college football and to their new surroundings. In an effort to make that easy, head coach Brock Spack and his coaches have scheduled workouts to get the maximum amount of repetitions for every member of the Redbird football team.
The Redbirds powered through their fourth practice of fall camp Sunday afternoon at Hancock Stadium, under cloudy skies and light rain for the third time in four days. The un-seasonably cool conditions have helped keep the players fresh and the work intense through the team's acclimation period.
