Fall Camp Report 7: Defense Tough On The Goal Line

NORMAL, Ill. – The theme to the Illinois State football team's practice Wednesday was all about situations, with the first focus on no-huddle offense and the second on goal line work during the team's workout.

The scenery was different as well for the Redbirds, who spent the majority of practice up on the grass practice field adjacent to the stadium.  The team went through its normal schedule, before moving back to the turf at the stadium for 7-on-7 work.  Instead of alternating reps as usual, the offensive units split took turns going no-huddle while driving the field.
