The Brock Spack Show Airs Live Thursday From Schooners

NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State football head coach Brock Spack and the No. 22-ranked Redbirds (2-0) are anxious to get back to action this Saturday against Austin Peay (0-3).  Coach Spack will talk about his team's preparations for the matchup with the Governors and all other Redbird football news Thursday night at 6 p.m., during The Brock Spack Show broadcasted live from Schooners on WJBC 1230 AM.

Despite not playing due to a bye last week, the Redbirds moved up spots in both national Football Championship Subdivision Top-25 polls Monday. The Redbirds moved up two spots to No. 22 in the FCS Coaches Poll and debuted in The Sports Network FCS Top 25 at the No. 23 spot.

Coach Spack will talk with co-hosts Dick Luedke and Ted Schmitz and will be joined by senior tight end James O'Shaughnessy as this week's player guest.  O'Shaughnessy will play in his 37th career game as a Redbird on Saturday and currently ranks second on the team with four receptions for 106 yards this season.  The Naperville, Illinois, native set a career-best with those 106 yards receiving in ISU's season opening 62-0 win over Mississippi Valley State.  In four seasons, O'Shaughnessy has caught 42 passes for 732 yards and scored five touchdowns.

Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington, and sits just off the corner of Grove and Clinton Streets. For those who can't make it out to Schooners to watch the show live, it will be broadcast on WJBC 1230 AM in the Twin Cities and streamed live on GoRedbirds.com.
